    Problem: There is not an abundance of spaceflight. Until there is an abundance of spaceflight, people will fight over where to go and what to do up there.

    The main issue is lack of funds. I believe we would already have a permanent base on the moon and very likely a footprint on Mars by now if the necessary monies had been available. A lack of public support since the Apollo17 moon landing has and will continue to be the #1 problem with space exploration. We must somehow get the people excited again! IMHO
