    Basically the SLS debate boils down to one of cost versus capability. The Falcon Heavy is more cost-effective but the SLS is more capable. So, I say, the FH for the cost-effective development of the Moon where we don’t need so much capability and SLS for the Journey to Mars because we need that level of capability. But to afford both, we need “Lunar COTS” for the Moon and supplemental FH cargo launches in support of a program to Mars.
